September Family Beach Day
A relaxed morning on the beach with family field-day games, free beach play, and a sack lunch — an easy first chance for homeschool families to meet face-to-face.
Four seasons · Four gatherings · One homeschool community
We're creating four seasonal events each year where homeschool families along the Emerald Coast can meet face-to-face, build friendships, discover local resources, support one another, and enjoy meaningful time together.
The Emerald Coast already has wonderful online homeschool communities. We're here for what a screen can't do: four in-person gatherings a year where families actually meet, kids make real friends, and parents find their people.
Up next · September
Our first gathering of the year — toes in the sand, new friends all around.
The annual rhythm
Every season brings a different way to connect — a beach day, a resource fair, a field day, a curriculum swap. Come to one or come to all four.
Fall · September
A relaxed morning on the beach with family field-day games, free beach play, and a sack lunch — an easy first chance for homeschool families to meet face-to-face.
Winter
Our biggest gathering — connecting families with homeschool groups, tutors, co-ops, enrichment programs, local businesses, food, and family activities.
Spring
An outdoor gathering with family games, nature activities, and hands-on science experiences — the Emerald Coast's homeschool field day.
Summer
A relaxed picnic where families buy, sell, and trade curriculum, share resources, and plan the next homeschool year while the kids play.
Our gatherings bring together homeschool families from Santa Rosa Beach, Destin, Miramar Beach, Freeport, Niceville, Fort Walton Beach and Navarre — and every beach town, bayou, and back road in between. Wherever you homeschool along the Florida Panhandle, you belong here.
